Nyra pulled herself a little higher on the rock when the man decided to join her. He was easily twice her size, and while that appealed to the more primal part of her, she knew that she stood no chance against him should he grab her. Her expression darkened, lips curling into an uncertain frown as she tightened her grip on the rock, for all the good that would do her.
"Depends on what those reasons are," she muttered, tension heavy in her voice. "I am nothing more than a traveler passing through. It was not my intent to end up here precisely."
